Hi! I'm Marion Chevalier, PhD
in computer vision and machine learning.

During my PhD, I was advised by Matthieu Cord and Nicolas Thome at the LIP6 (Laboratoire d'Informatique de Paris 6), and by Gilles Hénaff and Jérôme Fournier at Thales Optronique S.A.S..

Research

As a PhD student, I both worked at Université Pierre et Marie Curie in the Machine Learning and Information Access team run by Patrick Gallinari, and at Thales Optronique S.A.S. in the Service Traitement des Images team run by Arnaud Beche. I was under the supervision of Matthieu Cord and Nicolas Thome at the LIP6, and Gilles Hénaff and Jérôme Fournier advise me at Thales Optronique S.A.S..

Both entities have specializations in Machine Learning and Computer Vision. More specifically, my work focuses on supervised learning for vehicle recognition on low-resolution images. In particular, I am interested in Deep Learning and Learning Using Privileged Information approaches.
