Xin Wang is a third-year Ph.D. student under the supervision of Nicolas Thome and Matthieu Cord in the Laboratoire d'Informatique de Paris 6 (LIP6), University of Paris 6 (UPMC). His research interest is using the eye-tracker for boosting the performance of classification system for recipe images. This research subject is as part of the VISIIR project, which aims at exploring new methods for semantic image annotation.
Xin Wang obtained his double B.E. degrees from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and University of Paris-Sud in 2012. He completed his M.S. in University of Paris-Sud and started his Ph.D. research in 2014.
